I'm going to say, I prefer bram stoker's dracula. I liked nosferatu the cinema quality excellent but if a film is amazing I can't help but watch it over and over, it's not happening with nosferatu. What did you like/not like about the film?

I really liked the darker aesthetic and how it was less romanticized and more like a need.. Where Bram Stokers Dracula was more about the man behind the monster, I liked that this was more about the monster, and his hungers.. And it was cinematically stunning, I did really like that lol
I also liked how drastically different Bill played Count Orlock vs Pennywise, he nails it when it comes to portraying these monsters. Man I just really like monsters 😂

@Ryan Razorwire same I prefer the 78 or even the silent 1922 film. @Goblinsgrin I would recommend watching the 78 one as well cause it does a real good job about his hungers and animalistic side, also the plot makes more sense in the old one while the current one he KNEW about Lily since she was a kid so there is zero reason for him to need permission to move across from them unlike in the original Nosferatu movies where he only knows of Lily when John drops his locker of her on Orlok's desk when they are in the middle of looking at the deed, Orlok (Nosferatu) then sees her picture for the first time and is driven with animalistic lust and rushes to sign the paper only to then have "post nutt" cleartiy after doing so.

IMO the new Nosferatu movie sucked cause 1 he was already evil in his demeanor and 2 they got him looking like Dracula instead of Orlok, while in another movie, last voyage of the Demeter, the got DRACULA looking like ORLOK. The two should've switched names for the movie. 3 it wasn't that deep of a animalistic lust as the originals were, cause again Orlok in the new one KNEW about Lily since she was a kid while in the 22/78 version he had no idea about her until he saw her picture from Jonathan's locket which caused him to instantly want to buy the house across from them without hearing about others.

Skip to 43:20, you'll hear a wolf howling to also symbolize the animalistic nature. Even the dinner scene was better too cause Orlok was a kind host until John cuts his thumb then you hear the wolf howl and Orlok starts to give in once he sees and tastes the blood.

Just my opinion but the original ones were a bit deeper and had better symbolism and plot than the new one which was basically like Hey boo remember how we made a demon blood pact thing when you were a kid, well I'm here to collect that debt now that you're older and need to buy a house for some reason to stalk you even though I kill anyone that's in my way, also tell your husband I've been f**king you the entire time.

Also in the YouTube video skip to 1:15:56, this is the first time Orlok talks/meets Lucy in person.

I loved the aesthetics and the blend of black and white into colour

Nicholas Hoult was the star of the show and Lili Depp seemed to be too histrionic at times

Liked 'feratus Cossack link/tache though I know for some they hated that but was a lot more realistic
