What's the last book you gave up on and stopped reading?

I don't stop reading a bad book. I still commit to finishing even crappy books. It usually takes a little longer to finish.

An author that is from my state, here book was titled. "You'll be sorry when I'm dead. " The blurb made me laugh, the first chapter amused me, then by chapter 2 I lost interest. The stories didn't keep me interested, & it seemed to be a biography full of name dropping, & big noting herself, a little too much.

I read the book theif, that seemed overrated to me.

Sorry that's all I remember for now.

Air Power’s Lost Cause: The American Air Wars of Vietnam by Brian Laslie. Know the guy, he’s my primary advisor for my master’s thesis, extremely knowledgeable expert on airpower and the command historian at the US Air Force Academy. And he’s also super nice. Just not a great writer. Also, the book is well-trodden ground, like most Vietnam topics, and I think its central argument is lazy and incoherent as presented. Had to read it for a class at The Citadel and did my best to skim it but even that gave me no joy.

Twilight

I actually finished the third book in the Divergent series but I almost quit so many times. Was honestly one of the stupidest things I've ever read with all the science fails.

The suspense wasn't as poignant as I thought it would be.

But usually the best things get banned, like murder!

Goodnight, Moon. Reading this book about 4 dozen times to your baby will definitely convince you that the children’s book industry is a colossal scam and that they require literally zero skill to produce.
