You weren't vulgar about it. I get that some topics might make people uncomfortable, my only thought as to "why?" would be that it is a sensitive topic, but it was hard to tell if it was sincere, just a joke, a joke in relation to something else on the forum, etc. I was going to ask, because I've dealt with the same s**t, but in myself and others, some who where, I'll just say, quite serious, but I didn't want to rock the boat. Now that my brains awake I figured out a way I could've asked that would've been better. Hopefully there's peep you can reach out to. I volunteer if need be.

@heartbeat Honestly, yes. If it's really that dire, I'd be there for just about anybody. That subject shaped my life drastically, and the impact it can have on loved ones is pretty gnarly. I wasn't offering because I know Jay, because I don't, *I don't think. I offered because of the impact is has on people.

* I do know one guy from the forum, but I don't know his actual altscene profile. He posted anonymously in the forum one night, we talked outside of altscene, but he never revealed his normal altscene profile to me, nbd, I get it.

I log in pretty much every day to approve photos / profiles and check the forum. I can't remember the post but if it was about suicide / self harm that is probably why if it could have been seen as potentially encouraging either of those things.
