hell yeah dead space rules lets just hop0e the second one will get chance later on ive seen all the animted movies for them real shame for the altenrtiver version of dead space didnt work out coalstic proteic ddint wirk becuse of the mancin becuse the orginal guy who made couldsnt own the ip anymore so he was desrparte bring it back ebfore his orginal game went on the market weeks before the other game came out but ended up being bankrupt anyway.

My favorite horror games (and one of my favorite games in general) is called "The suffering" it's on the original Xbox and PS2. You can get it on GOG for PC as well, but it has no controller support sadly.

also Control is a great game from the same company.

I can only recommend based upon PC but, I can give you some games.

Okayyyyy... so, lets start off with the spooky ones:
- Dead Space Remaster
- Metro (series)
- Beyond Hanwell (AMAZINGLY atmospheric)
- Visage
- Ad Infinitum
- Lust From Beyond (very sexual, but, very lovecraftian)
- Warhammer 40,000 Darktide

Other Games I enjoy enough to recommend:
- Project Zomboid.
- RImworld
- GTFO
- Noita
- LA Noire

If you have VR
- Audica
- Pistol Whip

There's way more I recommend, but, this is a decent list to start off with.
Of course, it all depends on if you have a PC of course.

Well, the always number one pick is DOOM. Because it is horror in reverse. WE are the horror. Demons are the victims. *doom 3 doesn't count*

HATRED is always good.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert - soviet campaign. Literally a string of war crimes.

Nazi Zombie Army I & II are nice.

Worldbox Simulator because nothing is scarier then giving a human the powers of a god.

Ready or Not - is a swat simulator.

Grim Dawn - spiritual successor to Diablo II after III had the botched launch.

Fun fact, you can use Xbox or PS controllers on PC... I know is considered a sin for PC gaming, but I always use my Dualshock 4 controller.
