My life largely revolves around music, whether playing with my band or going to gigs festivals etc, I have a wide taste in music but my favorites tend to be rock, metal and acoustic. I mainly play guitar, but also bass and a few other things.
I'm a guy who is very laid back, friendly and open minded, but can also be determined and focused when necessary. I'm also highly resilient, it takes a lot to get me down. I try not to take life too seriously and am looking for someone similar. I enjoy going out and staying in equally as the mood takes me i just always like to be doing something, i can't sit in front of the TV for too long i get bored.
I'm half Italian, half viking, bred in Yorkshire, it's an interesting combo... my Dad is from Rome and I've spent a fair amount of time there over the years, and will be a lot more in the future as my parents are buying a place over there. I've mostly lived in Leeds apart from when I was at Uni, when I lived in London and ended up staying for 6 years. I'm fairly well travelled, but nowhere near enough and this is something I intend to put right in future. I run my own IT business, which currently has me project managing for a bank, though my degree was in Zoology (long story). I own my own house in north east Leeds which I recently moved into and I'm currently doing up.
I'm fairly obsessed with learning about the things that interest me, i like to educate myself and be clued up on the world. i like to know how things work, to fix things and make things, love to cook, anything creative. I like nature and history and technology. my geek-like tendencies are the perfect balance to my wilder side. i like most normal guy stuff as well.
I do enjoy a drink and a smoke and generally like to live life to the fullest, although I've calmed down considerably from my younger days and maybe have a big night out one or twice a month. To counter this I've started training again recently, a new years resolution I've actually kept up! as well as sorting out my diet and I'm already considerably fitter than I was. I have a fairly large group of friends who I like to socialise with, many of whom are also musicians and we tend to spend some of our time in and around the live music scene supporting each other whether in Leeds or further afield.
I'm pretty adventurous, love to see new places and explore.
