I always thought I'd be forever alone, mopey, pity party, the whole rap sheet. I stopped putting myself back into that depressive mindset every time my depression reared its ugly face. How? By occupying my mindset and doing things to occupy it. After literally and metaphorically facing death with all 5 senses, I realized I could've been one of those bodies in the morgue. I'm not. That's why I'm grateful for another opportunity to wake up and do what I do.
I'm a pro wrestling referee, I sing, play instruments, watch all kinds of things on many streaming platforms, game, and bust my ass. If you're not willing to do whatever is necessary to better your life, and instead you're willing to let the darkness consume you, be my guest. But if you want to be on the path to greatness, where the potential that I and many others see in you has a chance to shine, I'm all in! Quick note though: It's my goal to be the man of the household with a family (meaning whomever be the woman I may meet, I want to work and provide so that way you don't have to, but respect is earned. I'm a bit iffy on having my own kids (mainly because I help take care of my godchildren). Men SHOULD NOT show emotion unless there is a time where it is absolutely necessary. Men are supposed to be capable of danger (capable but controlled) and have full control of their emotions with a stoic mindset, and need to be strong for their friends, families, and loved ones, however, I do support that we should only confide in people closest to us, but only about certain things.
I came from the mindset of it being okay to show emotions, but I recently learned an old phrase that I was never taught: "Strong man creates easy times, easy times make weak men, weak men make hard times, and hard times make strong men". So men, you need to be strong. However, If you ever need to talk, If any man finds this and just needs a place to vent/a listening ear, don't be afraid to flood my inbox.
I'm all for the strength and importance of man as much as I am women, however, both are being disrespected by today's societal standards, and all of the politics of today that are taking over. We're all on the same bird, so let's try not to f**k this one up again.
