Full disclosure, I'm happily married. My wife and I have recently begun an ethical non-monogamous (ENM) marriage and are practicing a polyamorous lifestyle. This is something that we have both consented to.

In my case, it's pretty simple.... due to my wife's body pains/fibromyalgia, among other standing issues, our s*x life is unfortunately limited, since her struggles make it difficult for her to handle me in the bedroom as often as we'd like.... as a result, she has encouraged me to seek out additional partners elsewhere as well, to both meet and satisfy my high s*x drive.
Now, while s*x is implied eventually, that is not the only reason we're doing this. As practitioners of "free love" and polyamory, we are also hoping to connect spiritually, emotionally and romantically with our potential partners, so our intent does go deeper than just s*x.
