I have tried the mainstream sites and to be frank, I just don’t cut it or I am far removed from those who seek weekly global adventures and cheeky gins & c**ktails. My music tastes are according to some are from a different planet [cacophony or guitar noise] and far removed from their comfort zone or just totally out there ~ here, I have noticed, it’s the norm.
TV and radio is something I do not do and msm is definitely not my cup of tea.
About me:
I am not here to mess around or entertain chaos or drama.
I am warm hearted, tactile, expressive and loyal. Also, I am very passionate about people and objects close to my heart. Above all, I am solvent and courteous with a healthy splash of that of old school decorum and propriety.
Creativity is my thing ~ drawing, designing and make things ~ I am technically minded which is balanced with all the spiritual stuff... Love crystals and incense !! Love nature but not consumed by it. I really enjoy going out to restaurants and experiencing all types of cuisine ~ flavours ~ texture and aroma. I guess that makes me a foodie. I also love cooking and the cleaning up after ~ an exercise in mindfulness. Love 70's classic rock, 80's synthpop and everything happily ever after ~ Like Netflix and syfy stuff too ~ keeps me sane after a day at work.... Love craft shops and Lovecraft.
Love photography and I have a passion for anything intricate and bizarre – cute, tecky or magical.
Totally into Brutalism for architecture and Mark Spain & Jack V for paintings.
Other stuff that intrigues me include Astrology, Egyptology/ middle eastern art and antiquities and have an interest in the usual esoteric stuff too. Having been to Iran and Persepolis ~ I enjoyed the first 10 minutes of The Exorcist as this reminds me of my childhood ~ also puts the film 300 into perspective. I have travelled a bit.
I am in the process of moving to Belper and work in Nottingham. I have a job as an architectural modelmaker which compliments my studies in build environment tech and the world of architectural technology.
I am originally from glorious sunny Devon and recently completed a BSc at Derby Uni.
My favourite holiday destination in the UK is Cornwall. Long beach walks with a setting sun is something I look forward to ~ and then some fine nosh and soaking up the summer night under the stars. Love Cornwall.
I have two awesome kids who are my world ~ they live with their mum and I see them on Saturdays. My home is like a creative studio for them ~ contains everything you'd see in an art shop. We make some pretty wicked things and I get to teach them essential craft skills.
The last book I read was one of Nancy Friday’s.
What I’m looking for:
I am looking for a partner in crime to help co-write the next epic chapter of my life ~ I’d like this to be wild and awesome with several plot twists and unexpected adventures with my lovely taking centre stage.
I love spontaneous outrageous shows of affection ~ either publicly or better still, privately. If you are open, honest and caring, warm and affectionate ~ being tactile and sensitive would be awesome too ~ and if you have leanings towards being adventurous, artistic and creative ~ you would definitely definitely hold my interest.
