Hi there. I'm Michael.
I'm a nerd, metalhead and anti-racist intersectional feminist. Politically I'm broadly Socialist, but it's complicated. If you're interested in that sort of thing, ask me about it. If you're not, don't. It's not the driving force behind my whole personality and I won't chew your ear off about it uninvited but it is important, and it's one of a number of things I will quite happily talk about at some length if you're interested.
I'm usually quite blunt, honest and with a strong moral code. I will quite happily drop everything to help my friends when they need me. I'm usually quite a calm person. I don't lose my cool easily, I try to be as kind and compassionate as I can and I like to think I'm fairly intelligent as well, but I guess that's not for me to judge. I'm obsessed with learning new things; knowledge and intelligence are both very attractive to me.
I will shamelessly promote my mates' band, Mountain Caller, at every opportunity I get. They play awesome heavy progressive instrumental doom with a stoner vibe. Think Russian Circles, but a bit louder. Absolutely epic sound, and they're amazing musicians.
I'm open to making friends but I am looking for the right person to start a relationship with. One night stands do not interest me. I'm primarily interested in people in Kent and London, as those are the areas where I spend most of my time; I am willing to travel further afield for someone special.
