I've just recently moved to Saint Louis after living all my life in a small town, and let me say it is such a good change! No more driving hours just to reach...well, anything, and no more having to deal with the attitudes of small-town people. As for my next step in life, starting in January I'll continue my schooling to get my Masters in Library Science degree. I hate school with a vengeance, but I'm actually kind of excited about taking classes actually relevant to my intended degree for a change.
Once I have that degree and have found some nice big library to work in stage two of "the plan" goes into action. See, as much as I enjoy being a librarian my ultimate goal is to be an author. I have a six-part book series I've been working on for nearly a decade now, and I'm hoping that once I get all of this school nonsense out of the way I can defeat my writer's block and actually finish something.
What free time I do have is used listening to music and reading for the most part. I actually read fanfics online more than I read printed novels, you'd be surprised how well-written some fanfics can be. I also like to spend time browsing DeviantArt.
I have two cats, one named Isabella and another named Jefferson, who is her son. They're still adjusting to the move, but given time I think all of us will be settled in and happy with our new location.
