I'm a bit of a gamer, and by that I mean I'm a massive gamer. If you think that means I spend my hours shooting people in the face, then just..get out now.
Trying very hard to convey some form of personality on here, but it's impossible.
Born in 87 so pretty much a 90's kid. 'Steal my Sunshine' by Len because California seemed like the motherland when you were 9. Now I'm 26 I realise it's all just guns and weed *sadface*...Wait I'm 25 >_>
I'm stoic, yet animated. Serious but damn, I do love my romance...You know what? THIS is pointless. You'd find out a thousand more useful/useless things about me over a drink in a quirky little bar/pub.
Recently moved to Leeds. Looking for a good night out. I've been to Fuel and Wendyhouse. Like to chill at Fab Cafe if I don't fancy a messy night out. Nation of Shopkeepers is also a very cosy drinking hole also. If there are any dedicated metal clubs in Leeds I'll be checking them out. Lived in Manchester for three years and saw the metal scene disappear before my eyes. R.I.P Jillys Rockworld. R.I.P Club Phoenix, Post Mortem was never the same anywhere else.
Been wearing black since my days of hiding under a Slipknot hoodie (My first and last hoodie that I parted ways with some years ago). I'm a bit of a contradiction to the metal scene. I'm not covered in piercings or tattoos, I don't die my hair and I don't try and look as goth as possible. When I go out I prefer to wear something that's going to keep me throwing myself around for minutes at a time if the DJ decides to queue a few beastly songs together. I have owned one pair of new rocks in my time, and they have since expired. I'm predominantly a gamer so most of my money goes into fueling that passion. I'd prioratise my metal tastes more but I've never felt like I've needed to. I'm not a poser, I wear eye liner because I think it makes me look ten times better than without, not because I feel like it's appropriate for the night out.
I'm a gentleman and a fiend. I like to keep as many things in balance as I possibly can. I'm not anti-drugs, but I have no interest in using. I don't smoke, and I drink enough to get absolutely..tipsy. Don't fancy wasting the day after recovering from the night before, although if (sic) or duality comes through the PA, I may just wake up with a bangover, regardless of how sensible or not I was the night before.
In short, I'm not here to impress anyone. There are probably alot of people on here that are decidedly more 'metal' than I am. And they are welcome to that prestige. I go out, clad in black, hair tied back, ready to unleash on the first song that takes my fancy, and once the hair comes down I apologise in advance for any head on collisions.
