I'm a goth, or a metalhead, depending on how the mood takes me. Unless I'm listening to something else, of course, which is also pretty frequent. The list of bands I like on the right there is very incomplete.
I read voraciously. All kinds of books, be they non-fiction, fantasy and sf, mainstream fiction, crime, history, science, you name it. Science is good. I have a sense of humour best described as distinctive, and I like way too many things that nobody else has ever heard of. I also like to write creatively, but never get round to doing as much as I want to.
I watch very little tv these days, although I will if there's something good on (usually Doctor Who). Generally I prefer a good film. Again, any genre, as long as it's good. And preferably a bit odd.
Always enjoy getting out for a good time, and I'm eternally glad there are so many opportunities to do so on the Brum alternative scene. I've lived here for nearly ten years now, but I still don't have the accent...
A good night out for me would probably be a chance to have a couple of quiet drinks and a good chat. Possibly followed with some kind of music.
Would very much like to meet someone a bit different and unusual. Unusual is good.
And I should probably try and become less shy about actually messaging people on here. It's hardly a recipe for success. Unless of course you take the initiative and message me first. I very rarely bite.
