Lefty, liberal, nerdy, sciency, neurospicy, poly, switchy atheist
I am a bit of an introvert, so yes I do lose myself in bingeing boxsets and such, but that's not to say I don't enjoy getting out and about, I'm just more "outdoorsy-curious". I'm more likely to join you on a leisurely bike ride than go bagging monroes - just enough to (try) to keep fit and enjoy a breath of fresh air, with maybe a pub stop en-route - I enjoy those quiet corners in cosy pubs where good food, good drinks, and engaging conversations come together, more than I do loud, noisy nightlife.
I'm a geek, into all the usual pursuits that entails like scifi & fantasy, gaming (console, board, and once-upon-a-time TTRPGs, although I've been groupless for several years).
Even though I'm not really a bookworm these days, I enjoy diving into a good book every now and then. I've also got a soft spot for museums and cinemas.
I'm looking to meet people local to Edinburgh in real life. I am not looking for penpals or to be endlessly texting back and forth - I will not match with you if you're in Nairobi or Jakarta or similar, lovely though that must be for you.
I am solo poly and practice ENM. If you are here for short term fun, I may enjoy some meaningless distraction, but I am really looking to build long term relationships, be they romantic or just friendship-based. The difference is that I am looking to find enough in common to suggest we'd get on, without trying to fit you into some impossibly specific checklist of perfect compatibility that signifies you are "the one" - I'm looking for a connection, not someone to draw a sword from a stone to go vanquish the Dark Lord.
No Tories/TERFs/Antivaxxers, we won't get on.
