I have an 8 year old son who lives with me during the week. I have a great bunch of close friends and an active social life.
I'm easily amused and can find humour almost anywhere and in anything. I speak my mind, say what I mean and mean what I say. Generally speaking I have a cheerful disposition and a positive attitude. I have a passion for music (including gigs and festivals) and film, a great desire to travel and a natural curiosity in the world around me.
I'm self sufficient and independent (but the likes of Germaine Greer are NOT my idols. I don't like unicorns). I am secure and happy in myself and content with my own company. However, that doesn't mean I don't have room in my life for the right man.
The man
I won't even consider you if I feel that you're overly materialistic or a bigot of any kind. Nor will I consider you if you're obese, trendy, a spice boy or a charv. You MUST be into alternative music. We don't have to like the same bands, that is not necessary, but ideally you will love metal/rock and enjoy attending gigs and festivals.
I'm not looking for a knight in shining armour or 'the one' as they only exist in fairytales. I believe that there are many who may be compatible with each other and that it's more about proximity and timing than it is about fate, destiny or any of that rubbish.
I do feel that you ought to; have an optimistic view of life; a passion for music, travelling and the outdoors; be able to put a smile on my face every day and only have eyes for me. aww haha But NO pressure! Let’s just relax, become friends and get to know each other...see what happens.
My philosophy on life:
Fulfilment is not acquired via the attainment of material possessions but through the experiences we have and the connections we make with the people we meet along the way.
