I'm a compulsive creative. Leave me alone for 5 minutes and I make something - usually a mess!
I'm a metalhead, seamstress, published author and artist, gardener, geek, pyrographer, JD & coke aficionado, Trekkie and rebel ally. I love Marvel and DC equally.
If I'm not making something, I'm usually slashing stuff up in some VR hellscape. With Vikings. I also collect shiny pointy things. In 2022, I took that a bit further and took up sword fighting (HEMA). It's quite possibly the best thing I've ever done and indubitably the most fun I've ever had with my clothes on.
I love live music, particularly small, intimate ones, and there's nothing quite as cathartic as losing yourself in your fave bands' tunes for a couple of hours.
I love walking on the beach, through the countryside, or in the mountains, and I adore watching sunsets, or looking at the moon and stars and wondering what's out there. I'm also rather partial to stomping around desolate parts of the countryside to find and explore stone circles, monoliths and ruins.
I'm a lifelong fan of all things fantasy, sci-fi and horror, particularly if there's some black comedy thrown in. 😈 I refuse to get rid of my VHS collection. 🤣
I'm based in South Wales, but I love to drive and have no problem travelling to meet people and have adventures. I'm looking for new friends to share gigs, life and experiences with, and maybe something more.
As for me, I'm passionate, compassionate, nerdy, silly, adventurous, loyal and a little bit bonkers (aren't we all?).
