My name is Alex. I graduated from Miami University with a psychology degree last year. Currently I'm a shop manager for Take 5 while I look for something in my field. I really want to become an ABA Therapist and work with children with developmental disabilities.
I've been playing drums for 9 years and guitar for 8 years. I recently started playing 8-string guitar and I can't see myself ever going back. I really want to get a band going soon and hopefully be able to release albums and do small tours. I have no illusions of making it big, but if I can manage that I'll be happy.
I love music more than anything else in the world (whoever I end up with, I'm sorry but just accept that you'll always be second to music). It is a true passion for me. I mainly love metal, with an emphasis on death metal, tech death, progressive death, and groove metal. I also love thrash, metalcore, deathcore, alternative, some pop, and a very particular type of rap called chopping (fun fact: I'm in Tech N9ne's top 2 percent of listeners around the globe).
I'm also a huge movie buff, an avid reader, a halfway decent cook, and I play golf on occasion. If I'm not working I love to spend time at home with my dog, smoke weed with friends, play video games, or go hiking/camping.
