Beliefs
- I believe deeply in autonomy, human and animal rights, the importance of diversity, and freedom to exist without oppression by others.
- Vegetarian since I was 32, trying my best to be Vegan for the last 6.
- Atheistic-Agnostic
(there is no god but ourselves, for we imagined the need for gods and devils. There is no one who can make the world a better, or worse, place except ourselves. Inaction through waiting for, or blaming, external deities effectively dooms our society)
- Nihilistic/Absurdist/Existentialist
(There is no inherent purpose to our existence. It’s up to us to find purpose and reason to exist. If you cannot see morality and ethics thriving this way, then you are already a rotten person.)
Crucibles
- DSM-7: AuDHD (ADHD-PI + ASD-1) and comorbids (GAD, Dysthymia, MDD)
- Chronic Pain (muscular, headaches, most likely manifestations of overload and burnout from working full time as a heavily neurodivergent person)
- Heavily introverted with a focus on personal friendships. Social gatherings and situations are very stressful to my nervous system and can easily trigger painful nights.

- Music has been my love all throughout life, and it is one of the few ways I can access and express my feelings. Unfortunately my taste is often too esoteric to relate to others.

- My taste in TV and Movies is limited, as there is a lot out there (especially in recent years) that is either seems designed simply to upset people, or is founded on ideas that I find repulsive.
- If you loved DS9 (especially Worf and Odo) we may have some things in common.
- I play a lot of PC videogames. They are one of the few things that keep my troubled mind busy.
- Those close to me have told me that I am insightful, wise, and caring. I’m known for being safe to come to for support or advice when things are hard.
Searching
- I am looking for friendships with people of similar neurodivergencies, experiences, or taste. Being able to connect and bond on a deeper level is mandatory to having a lasting friendship, and lasting friendships are what I am looking for.
- While I’ll always long for love and intimacy, it’s hard enough finding the above. I think I’ll probably always search for it, but it’s something that has to grow slowly, patiently, out of the above friendships requirements.
- I have no qualms about friendships at a distance, and prefer texting to voice or video almost any day.
- I am monogamous. I'm fine with developing friendships with those who are not, but nothing more.
