I was in the shower thinking about my future when I realized the only times I've really felt alive was during my metal (phase) in middle school. I went from that phase to a proto-punk phase, I really broke down the walls and basically tried every subculture and genre imaginable until I was 20, but metal is consistently the most poignent, non-compromising, and real music ever.
I started wondering where people like me would congregate, I found this site.
