I'm a fairly easy going person, or a hippy as most of my friends insist! I have 4 grown up kids so I'm currently enjoying my second youth...I'm not planning to slow down just yet so if your looking for someone to share cocoa with, it would have to be somewhere far more exciting than in front of a TV!
I absolutely love music, particularly Heavy Metal but I do really enjoy underground dance music, folk and many other genres. I love a night out at a gig, a good club and attending festivals, Bloodstock is my current favourite but I also attend alternative and dance festivals too.
I've recently become involved with a couple of production companies and work as a Zombie scare actor in my spare time...perhaps you'd like to dress up and join in with my horde!
I have a mountain bike but I'm just getting back into riding after an illness earlier this year so until I'm fit again it's mostly trail riding I do at the moment. But I'm sure the downhill riding will be back on the menu again soon!
I'm in to lots of other less hectic stuff too. Going to the movies (horror, sci-fi, post apocalyptic and anything with a really good plot!), eating out & nights in with a film or cooking meals for friends. I like days out in the countryside walking with my dog. I enjoy visiting art galleries and build and exhibit willow sculptures myself when I have the time. My son has introduced me to computer games recently but as much fun as they are and as hard as I try, I'm still astoundingly rubbish at them!
I'm an honest, loyal and caring person and I value these qualities in other people. I dislike lying, dishonesty and negativity...none of these are helpful in life!
I treat my family and the people I call special in my life as I would like to be treated...with kindness, compassion, love and the odd helping of sarcasm!
I'd love to to meet someone that shares some of my rather ecclectic tastes (let's be honest sharing all of my tastes is a rather tall order!) and get to know each other. Making new friends and discovering new experiences is just as important to me as looking for "the one" but who knows?....that chap might happen along on lifes journey!
