The HAARP Machine

Formed by guitarist Abdullah Al Mu'min in 2007, the HAARP Machine are a progressive extreme metal band based out of the U.K. Following in the footsteps of bands like Periphery and Veil of Maya, the band merges brutal heaviness with incredible technical acumen, creating a sound as aggressive as it is ambitious. Though the project initially began with Al Mu'min recording alone at home, he eventually recruited a group of like-minded talent, allowing the HAARP Machine to make the transition from bedroom project to touring band with the help of singer Michael Semesky, bassist Oliver Rooney, and drummer Alex Rüdinger. The band eventually got the attention of metal label Sumerian Records, who released their debut, Disclosure, in 2012.
