Midnight Panic was a rock band from Bakersfield, California, founded sometime in 2005 by the former lead singer of Adema, Mark Chavez. They have since then been playing shows in Bakersfield and have already launched their debut EP which is available via their website. Since they have surfaced, they have had a rather strong fan-following from many fans of the old Adema that had Mark as their lead singer.
When Mark Chavez left Adema in late 2003 following the release of their second LP, “Unstable” (album) and a fall out with the band, Marky later on in the year announced that he had started a new band calledState Of Mind. At first it was rumored that Mark had recruited Geno Lenardo and Frank Cavanagh, the guitarist and bassist of the band Filter, but this statement turned out to be false. Later on in the summer of 2005 it was revealed that Chavez’s new band’s name was Midnight Panic. The band features Mike Montano on bass, Peter Shubert on guitar, and Matt Low on drums. Mark then announced on his official website that the band had created a profile on MySpace.com that featured two songs that they had recently finished - “Celebrate” and “Give Me One Chance”. Almost immediately, they gathered much attention and a new fan base. Most of the fans were former Adema fans of Mark.
