Im somebody that finds happiness in the simple things in life. I'd like to think that I'm a nice, considerate guy and I don't like to judge anybody without really getting to know them.
I've got an awesome little Staffy even if he can be a turbo meat-ball at times!
I'm not materialistic in the slightest which I think can be a bit of a problem for people that are!
If I had a 'type' id probably say it would be somebody soulful, compassionate and caring. Looks aren't a big issue for me but there obviously has to be some attraction. Although I think pretty much everybody has something beautiful about them, even if it's not obvious at first.
I try my best never to have unrealistic expectations about things, especially people. Not to say that I'm pessimistic at all, I just think happiness is a lot to do with enjoying what you have rather than constantly craving what you don't. Happiness=reality-expectation.
Likes;
Sports (pretty much everything, football and fight sports first).
Music (Mainly chilled acoustic stuff).
Laughs and drinks with good friends! (I don't have a single friend who I wouldn't trust totally with absolutely anything, I don't get this thing with people having 'friends' they don't trust or like? Haha, find better ones!).
Books and Movies (kind of a geek, I love fantasy/sci fi/historical. I love the film Cloud Atlas, don't want to read the book in case it spoils it for me haha. favourite book is a short story called flowers for algernon).
Tabletop/Board games (although I sometimes enjoy console gaming too).
Animals (especially dogs).
Standing outside at night and just losing yourself looking at the stars, bright but cold winter mornings, genuine heartfelt smiles, those nights when you sit around and have each other crying with laughter.
Dislikes;
Celebrity worship, fickleness, greed, lack of empathy, phone calls, people that lie, arrogance.
So I guess im looking for somebody to settle down with who's sweet, content, has a big heart and will stand outside with me at night looking at stars then go on a winter morning walk with me and the dog? Haha, not much really!
