Long and short of things is I'm 23, Student/Musician/Sales Assistant, lived in Brighton for 3 years and plan to stay longer. I go out as much as possible as staying inside bores me to death, I like chatting rubbish with people over a couple of drinks until the early hours however it'd be nice to meet someone I can enjoy spending time with at home watching decent TV like Breaking Bad, Game Of Thrones, Sons Of Anarchy, Spaced, Black Books, Green Wing and great films like Shaun Of The Dead, Evil Dead, District 9 etc
Music is pretty much my life, been singing and playing guitar for the last 11 years, I sing in a band and play acoustic shows as often as I can, ideally I'd like to end up as some Frank Turner-esque singer-songwriter but the industry is incredibly hard to get into so I'd like to get into the business side of things one day, maybe working in A+R or start my own record label when I have the funds. I'd like to be able to travel through my music, you see these bands experience all these incredible things whilst they're on the road and I don't think I can quit until I see it all for myself. If you listen to Biffy Clyro, Frank Turner, Reuben, Idlewild, Deaf Havana, BMTH, The Wonder Years and The Gaslight Anthem, we may well get along.
I like to think I'm a loyal person, my small but brilliant group of friends are everything to me, they share the same passions as I do and I'd like to find someone who can enjoy them as well. I have to restrain my sense of humour around new people as I crack way too many stupid jokes that just make me look weird, plus I have this odd thing where when I'm a bit nervous I end up talking far too much; it's great in some ways as I tend to avoid any awkward silences but I just babble on until someone else starts talking. Most of all, I enjoy hearing about other peoples experiences; their stories of their lives, the things they've seen and their take on them shows their personality the strongest and I would love to meet someone who can share what they've been through in life.
If there's anything you wanna ask me, please do, I prefer a question being sent over instead of just a "Hi" because I will have no idea how to reply and a question starts up a conversation a lot easier.
