I spent most of my life pursuing the ideal relationship; you know, that hopeless romantic cloud 9 thing everyone's jazzing about. Recently though, I find that focusing on myself and letting things like romance fall where they may is the better way to go about life. Don't get me wrong, the idea of that "special one" is great, but the journey to find them isn't always easy. You might as well explore everything you can before you settle down, no?
Anyways, I normally hate trying to define myself by interests, hobbies, etc but I suppose this thing needs to start somewhere.
Generally, I'm a pretty guarded person (with good reason) but I'll open up when you gain my trust. It's not an impossible thing to get, but it's worth the wait once that shell cracks. As far as my interests are concerned, it's kind of a wide scope of things. Not to seem fickle, but I just like doing everything; I'll pick up my guitar from time to time and strum out a few songs, or try and create a culinary masterpiece in the kitchen every so often. Sometimes I'll play video games for hours on end, or just grab a book and listen to music while immersing myself in various genres of storytelling. It's rather pointless to list everything that I'd be interested in doing, so let's just say I jack of all trades my way through life.
Concerning what I'm doing with myself, well I'm finishing up university (yeah I know, a little late in the game) and working (both pretty much full time) as an assistant manager in the IT division of a franchising company. Weekends are usually the unwind days where the monotony breaks down and anything can happen, and I like it that way. Between a decent job and finishing up my undergrad work, I find time to focus on my family, my friends, and myself.
Usually if I've got an free time you can find me long-boarding on the LB bike path, you know, because bikes are everywhere these days (and dogs)
On the surface it may seem like everything you've read is pretty generic and cookie cutter, but honestly if you give me a shot you'll find that there's so much more than just words on a screen (and I'm sure I'll find the same about you).
