Hello there other singles,
about me: I'm 25 years old, a graduate student at Antioch University Midwest pursuing a master's in Transpersonal Ecopsychology, and trying to complete the first revision of a novel I'm writing. I have a history of substance abuse but am sober now and ask that you are, too. I have a dog named Grog (or GrogNess Monster, GrogMonster, etc.). I like to read and although there are a great many other things I like to do (crochet, write, sing, play, learn, etc) I have found that school and work take a lot of my time. I don't club or barhop so I don't really meet anyone, especially not anyone "like me", you know? Um... I like cook and learn new recipes. Grog and I hike John Bryan state park regularly and as soon as it stays warm out we will be down for long bike rides. I have been a body piercer, radio personality, homeless youth advocate, McDizzle's cashier/fry cook, promoter, housekeeper, and general laborer. I am smart and I am strong. I have tried learning how to play musical instruments (guitar, bass, harmonica, hand drums, accordion, mandolin, bass trombone) but never really caught on. I was a road dog for a lot of years traveling coast to coast. I came here for school and decided to stay. Usually, I have the itch to leave within a week or less, here I didn't, which I thought important so I stayed. I've been housed for a year next month. Yay for change and love and hope! hahaha, and a warm bed to sleep in, f**k.
