Looking for friendship/conversation. I love reading and can try pretty much anything. Some of my favourites are Stephen King, John Ajvide Lindqvist, Anne Rice, George Orwell and Terry Pratchett. I also enjoy watching films and going to the cinema especially action, sci-fi and comedy. I like cheesy action films such as 'Total Recall' (original!!!) and 'Escape from New York', vampire and zombie films like 'Let the Right One In' (Swedish version) but not Twilight, Anime like 'Akira' and 'Wicked City', Kevin Smith films and serious ones like the Iranian film 'A Separation', 'The Kite Runner' and 'Schindler's List'. I also like gaming (Xbox or board games) and doing quizzes when time permits.
Music - I love going to gigs and would like to find people with similar tastes to share the experience with as most of my friends are into more mainstream stuff. I have a diverse taste. Some of my favourite musicians are: Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, Prince, Davd Bowie, Switchblade Symphony, Katatonia, Placebo, Type O Negative, Rome, Spiritual Front, Krister Linder, Deftones, VNV Nation...
I don't do religion unless it comes from South Park. I can be tolerant, but don't like it shoved in my face. I despise racism so if you have views along these lines or support the BNP or UKIP, I would rather not spend any time talking to you. In this modern and multi-cultural society, I can't believe such views exist.
Food - I am not afraid to eat and don't do diets. I'm a vegetarian and prefer Italian food. I like going out to restaurants but food isn't really a big interest of mine. I eat to survive. I don't like cooking as the ratio is wrong - over an hour to cook:10 minutes to eat. I'm sure I could be plotting something during that time. When they start selling astronaut food where I can take a pill, I'll be happy. Although, not chocolate! I don't conform to many traditional 'feminine' traits like cooking, talking about clothes and make-up but I do like chocolate. Not chocolate flavoured things though - cake, ice cream are out. People often say I'm a bit weird
I am not a highly sociable person as my job includes constantly dealing with groups of people and I find a lot of them stupid or uninteresting. On the other hand, they probably consider me to be boring. I am looking to meet people with similar interests so that I can have a conversation where I can be my true self if this hasn't put you off.
