Probably like you and everyone else here, I find these "about me" sections a pain. In the flesh it would be like walking up to someone in a bar and handing them your CV while flexing with a cheeky wink, which from my experience doesn't work - but I'll give this a go anywho.
I've got my fingers jammed in many a creative pie - despite that cliché metaphor. In my spare time I produce music, play a handful of instruments, sing, beatbox, write lyrics/stories/scripts, play poker and spin fire. I used to do more acting and parkour - but there's only so many hours in the day. I'm also trained in massage therapy, which is kind-of a curse - coz my back's a sod and I can't comfortably detach my arms to sort it out myself.
At the moment I spend a good deal of my time polishing glasses and comforting lonely drunkards in exchange for rent money. I've also modeled and been involved in political journalism on and off down the years. I'm looking to volunteer at Bristol zoo come the new year and hopefully work my way into a career that involves being outdoors and/or caring for animals. Also, should be fire-spinning for a handful of festivals in 2014.
I love animals, particularly cats and birds. The latter seem to follow me for some strange reason - one of the few comparisons that can be made between me and your average Disney princess. I also love vintage aesthetics and anything dystopian.
I like to wander about exploring and/or partying when I can, but also enjoy a quiet night in and want to travel the world when possible. I believe in moments over material 'tings and love an adventure. I'm also brutally honest (sometimes to my detriment) not that I can't keep a secret. Also, my music taste is very eclectic and I can't really think of a genre I don't listen to.
Society, psychology, philosophy and science all fascinate me - so betwixt the ramblings of a madman expect to hear a lot of half-cooked insights into the universe in general. I also spend a fair amount of mental energy pondering on the fibonacci sequence, my plans for the inevitable zombie apocalypse and how close medical science is coming to potentially making us cyborgs.
If you are unusual, liberal and have a creative flair of your own - that would be grand.
