Mellowed but still alternative non-conformist rock/goth/industrial fan, bit of a grown up geek, left of centre, creative, bookish, into outdoors and travel.
Late diagnosed with Autism in 2023 around the same time a 5 year relationship ended. Working through adjusting!
Currently lots of identity curiosity, leaning towards queer adjacent non-binary sapiophile demisexual, but to all intents and purposes cis-gendered male (as I'm attracted to and feel more comfortable with women/fem).
Working up to dating, certainly seeking friendships with adults with similar experiences and interests.
Stuff I like:
Being arty (drawing, painting, making music)
Reading science fiction, vertigo comics, fantasy and randomish non fiction such as history, alternative culture, religions, myth, biographies of interesting people, popular science.
Neurodiversity, psychology, trying to live a healthy authentic life with compassion and integrity. (Very much a work in progress)
Walking, particularly in hills and woodland.
Dancing as energetically as my advancing years will allow.
Gigs, festivals, comedy.
Films (mixture of sci fi, world cinema, comedy and trashy action flicks) and cult tv.
Hanging out with friends, camping or generally having a great time around a camp fire.
Gaming - I'm a TTRPG nerd, although sadly don't get as much of a chance to play as I'd like.
