Show me a dweller upon this site lacking an artistic soul or a troubled history filled with misfortune, for they undoubtedly do not exist. This, to me, is fantastic. It shows a thoughtful community, one full of understanding who hold onto their dreams. A community of passion, of ideas, of perception and ideology. It is this which unites us and makes knowing one another worthwhile.
I am a writer of novels, comic book artist, occasional musician, nightclub dogs body. I have a deep fascination with what makes people tick, be it through psychology, sociology or anthropology. There are few sports I enjoy, and fewer fans I indulge. I am a red blooded, meat eating savage who learned how to doff his hat and be respectful, embracing wit above all other forms of interaction. I love my music, my friends, artistry and communication, treasuring philosophical and spiritual conversations over the weather or what happened last night on the latest reality TV bilge. I live for the inner child's wonder, harnessing that imaginative qualitiy which allows us to ask the questions why and develop our own answers. It's probably why I chose to start writing novels. They allow the inner monologue to grow legs and wander about freely. Thus far I've covered the origins of London, gods, anxiety, zombies, steampunk, mysticism and social politics in my books, with plenty more subjects undoubtedly to come over time. To say the least, I enjoy it!
I am a geek. No surprise there really. Give me Sci Fi and Fantasy TV shows and I'm pretty much content. A comic book nerd, gamer on too many platforms, film buff, Anime fan and book reader. My favourite movies are Brotherhood of the Wolf, Battle Royale and The Princess Bride. I read a lot of R Scott Bakker, Steven Erikson, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett and Frank Herbert. I've spent a lot of my life clubbing in the London, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire scene.
This is all just a smidgen of the whole. I don't really know how to summarise everything about me so guess you'll just have to message to seek more. And if you don't, thanks for stopping by anyhow! May you find whatever it is you seek.
