Hi there! I am a friendly Australian (I have dual citizenship) living and working in England, have concentrated on travelling and having a good time, and approaching 28 am feeling increasingly lonely!
I love History, Beer, Literature and Heavy Metal, (four things sadly lacking in the Antipodes) which is what drew me here, I will frequently travel somewhere to see the castles, museums and stately homes, and would much rather head to a traditional pub rather than some cheesy nightclub.
At home I'm listening to rock, metal (faves are Opeth, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Katatonia, Blind Guardian, Rammstein) and some indie bands from the 90's when I was a teenager (ie. Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Tea Party) - nothing like a bit of nostalgia!
I adore anime, comedy and sci-fi shows and films, as well as the odd mystery (Poirot especially!) On my bookshelves is a curious mix of classical literature, sci-fi and travel guides.
Anything else I should mention... I have no car as I don't really need one (I walk to work) but it is a long-term aim to get one. I have, typically for a Metalhead, long hair and a goatee which is now braided half way down my chest I live in a friendly and tidy share house, as it is cheap and lets me spend more on travelling.
