Hi!
My name is Jani and I’m an almost-graduated mathematics student from Finland (I’m a few weeks away from getting my master’s degree!). In the future I wish to become a teacher. Music is a huge part of my life and identity. I mostly listen to metal and genres I most frequently listen to include progressive metal, melodic death metal and symphonic metal. I’m also quite interested in black metal and technical death metal. In addition to metal I listen to some rock, a bit of pop and I love synthwave. Carpenter Brut is one of my favorite artists!
In my free time I listen to music (duh!), play guitar, sing, go to gym, wander in nature, play boardgames and sample craft beer to mention a few things. I'm also very passionate about movies. When I leave the house I like to go to coffee shops, go see live music (shows and festivals), go bowling or play billiards and travel near or farther away.
I'm here to look for new friends and like-minded people to talk to. However, I’m not opposed to the idea of getting in a relationship should I come across the right person. For me relationships are something that should happen naturally and not be forced to happen. As a person I’m quite introverted and usually a bit shy but I nonetheless enjoy meeting new people (insert Obi-Wan "That's why I'm here" meme). Getting to know me well takes time. I would call myself a kind and relaxed person though sometimes I get anxious about things, big and small. Sometimes I'm even a bit funny. Maybe.
