My name is Sky, I am of mixed race including Lakota, Ojibwe, and Norwegian. In general I'm okay with floating through space on a giant rock. My current playlist consists of songs by, Yanka Dyagileva, Wych Elm, C.W. Stoneking, Ramones, Tom Waits. I enjoy reading fiction, comics and poetry from the likes of Junji Ito, Neil Gaiman, H.P. Lovecraft, Louise Erdrich, Terrance Hayes, Tom Hennen. I find watching the original Twilight Zone series deeply comforting.
I usually try to stay physically active day to day, during my working hours and leisure. Walking, running, riding my bicycle, especially during the autumn months is my favorite. Counter to that I also take time to relax reading, listening to music, or watching movies. I try to keep my mind stimulated and my interests broad. Currently I've been learning about carburetors, practicing guitar, learning about wood types, trees, and local edible plants. I'm mindful not to forget simple pleasures, collecting rocks and cool looking sticks, baking bread, checking out thrift and antique stores. It fascinates me to find some kind of modern remnant, an tobacco tin or heavy brass key, Makes me wonder what I'll leave behind, sticks and stones, worn out bones.
