I love the sea, nature, the stars/planets, karate, weight training, animals, reading, art/music/the occasional film, red wine, vegan food, travelling when I can.
Ethical vegetarian for 20 years, vegan for 10. I value all life equally, and don't place humans above animals, although we have higher faculties so therefore a higher moral obligation.
I'm a sound engineer/musician and sing in a post-punk band. I believe that art can be a vehicle for the deepest emotions.
I have no interest in politics, as I don't believe the system is really set up to help people. But I'm open to discussion, as far as my knowledge in this area can convey.
Deeply into philosophy and spirituality, I love to think outside the box and learn about other people's beliefs. At the end of the day, there's no religion higher than truth/knowledge.
All this serious stuff being said, I do have a wicked sense of humour (unfortunately often dry). I laugh at myself often, and I love to laugh with others at the mind boggling irony of life (cue Monty Python music).
What I'm looking for, is someone to laugh with me (occasionally at me), to spend time with and have great banter/connection/fun, take some calculated risks, like jumping off a plane (hopefully with parachutes that work), and see where the universe takes us on this great journey of life.
