Hi people,
I'm successful and generally happy. I love to cook, talk, and enjoy good beer and wine. I also enjoy conversations, talking sh..t, and putting the world to rights. I also enjoy travelling, learning about cultures and politics, and listening to the radio.
I'm not posting a picture, but I'm not hiding anything. I'm active, although my love of chocolate and food has meant I've put on a little weight recently; I'm working on it. I love walking, the countryside and around towns, architecture, people-watching, and discovering new things. On the negative side:
I'm a workaholic; I love my job. It's fair to say that people generally disappoint, people are out for themselves; it's survival. It is why, as a species, we've done so well; society places unnatural pressures on us all. However, the world fascinates me! We've reached an inflexion point; technology is outpacing our ability to cope with it, and it will only get faster. (exciting). Humans don't manage change well; technology (AI) and global warming arguably drive global conflicts and war. It's all a lot for societies to cope with; in the short to medium term, I find it difficult to be optimistic about the future. I wish I could still be here to see it!
I'm an open and friendly person, and despite my distaste for humans (as a species), I've met some fascinating and interesting people who, for one reason or another, have left a lasting impression, some I will never forget.

For some reason, I feel I need to say that I'm straight, losing my hair, and 5'10'' (178), with blue eyes. I've never really grown up, and I'm very young at heart. Looking in the mirror, I often think, who the f...k is that? I'm patient and full of empathy, yet at the same time, I don't tolerate idiots. I'm not sure why it matters, but I'm a Scorpio.
It isn't easy to connect through this medium, first impressions and all that. Say too much, say too little. People form impressions quickly and often without substance; therefore, my expectations are low, not of you but of this site.
