I'm a goth girl who's passionate about art & artist dolls, oddities, literature, nature. I'm a sensitive, open-minded creature. I appreciate spontaneity, love animals and despise injustice. I'm adventurous and curious.
Intelligent and creative, I love all things goth, dark, moderately scary, odd, artful and vampiric (the latter- in literature and film). I visit music and art festivals from time to time and love them to bits but they have to include things/bands/art I really enjoy. I'm into staying out and in with friends and/or family and come across as very approachable. I'm genuinely interested in people and their stories and opinions.
I do like my quiet time, even more so when I work. I'm self-employed and I create beautiful things for a living- it's a dream come true which gets better every day.
I read, photograph and sculpt. I make unusual, quite ethereal-looking collectors dolls, love nature, film, theatre and occasionally a good lecture. I'm interested in psychoanalysis, Surrealism, all things Victorian, and I'm a bit of an art/doll collector as well. I like old people, I'm drawn to antiques and the past but that doesn't stop me from living here and now.
I cherish my time with a good book but I'm also a comic books geek- only chosen titles though and nothing like "Spiderman", "X-man" etc., sorry. That doesn't mean that I can't learn about their value. My absolute favourite comic book authors/illustrators are the Rosinski/Van Hamme combo. In terms of literature: most classics, especially Russian, Poe, Lovecraft, (dark) fiction and fantasy. Poetry is another thing I really enjoy.
Film: Bergman, Tarkovsky, Aronofsky, Kieslowski, Burton,.......... And a lot more. And silly romantic (or not) comedies to cheer me up if needed.
I LOVE animals. I have three at home and a fourth one coming in every day for a snack and a nap, and a few foxes in the garden visiting regularly.
I do feel best amongst like-minded people and I love intellectual and challenging discussions, which I can take part in for hours on end.
I'm very sensitive and I would do a lot for the loved one(s).
I'm also a very sensual, sexual being. Faithful and expecting the same.
My place looks quite artistic, or begins to look that way, and I hope to make it even more so. I do like reds, violets, skulls, velvets and silks but not exclusively. It's just a preference but not a necessity. If I were to live in the mountains, in the forest or close to the sea, nothing on the walls would matter as much as the surroundings outside. Living in London, I miss nature very much.
I hope to travel with a capital "T" one day but also want a place in the world that I could truly call mine and always go back to. I have travelled a bit but definitely not enough. Aim to explore the UK much more soon(-ish).
I change my hair colour at times and the colours can be unusual. I have very painterly tattoos and love them, would be very happy with a few/a lot more. Same goes for piercings.
What I look for in life above anything else is love and understanding.
Interested in meeting people who identify with some/a lot of the above and recognise themselves in the things I've written here. I usually "click" with people who are somewhat similar to me; I guess we all do...?
I'm sorry but I'm simply unable to reply to all messages I receive; sometimes I won't be able to reply straight away. Please understand that I can't and don't want to be friends with everyone I come across in life. That doesn't mean that I think less of you (although in some cases I probably should); it means that I'm not interested in getting to know you because, given the choice, I choose people who I can tell I will get on with pretty much straight away and they have something I'm looking for.
