I'm 41 moved to the PNW during covid and still trying to make friends and meet people. I have a background in electrical engineering and work doing quality control for a medical manufacturer. I have several pets, 2 cats (Kenzo and Polly), a small terrier mix senior rescue dog (Starla) and 5 pet rats (Zelda, and Ripley). I will always have pets and hope one day to have the room for a few more like chickens and a goat or two. I also have around 300 house plants in my 2 bedroom apartment and one day would like a small house with a large garden and greenhouse. Not interested in having children or dating people with school aged children. I have my own apartment, car, job, ex. I don't expect someone I'm with to have all the same things but you have to at least have your base life together. I moved myself across country during covid and set up a life for myself here I'm looking to add to that with someone. I'm looking for friends and possibly more but I'm not polly or open in relationships IF I decide to have one. I'm open to meet friends too or for a long distance relationship or really whatever works out between me and someone else. I'm not looking to jump into a relationship either. I've been pretty much single for the last 10 years and I'm comfortable with that. I read, like documentaries, books and graphic novels, podcasts, museums, music shows and theater. My taste in music varies from old classic country to metal to punk and alternative. I like board, card and video games. I actually really enjoy camping, but I'm not super active or sporty. I would like to learn more about foraging for mushrooms. I also don't actually have a TV setup. I'm somewhat artistic and crafty. I like to cook and make meals at home at least 4 nights a week. I'm heavily tattooed from my face to my feet. Pierced. Colored hair off and on. I'm into indy horror movies, cryptids, mythical creatures and having a "collection of weird things" including taxidermy.
