I'm a nerd and a geek, especially Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. I really love transhumanism sci-fi. I play video games, role-playing games, and I paint miniatures (sporadically, when the mood hits me). While I haven't read any in a while, I love comic books.
My music tastes run from classic rock, retro '80s, heavy metal, hard rock, electronica, goth, to classical. I skim the surface of a lot of genres, and would love to do deeper dives into various types of music.
I studied theater in college (tech stuff, lights, sound, some design) but found my way into IT; sometimes I miss being backstage and making the magic happen, though I suppose that still works for an IT job... some people at least think it's all magic.
I may not look very goth, but at heart, it's what I love. My closet is basically full of only black clothes, so that counts, right?
