I'm very much a goth at heart. Who doesn't want to live life on the macabre side? Plus black goes very nicely with other shades of black.
I'm also a huge fantasy nerd. Absolutely love Elder Scrolls (I could talk about the lore for hours honestly), Tolkien books, The Witcher 3, Elden Ring, Fallout NV, the Baldurs Gate series, pretty much anything involving elves who brood too much. Star Trek definitely counts under that umbrella.
I've been getting into D&D a lot recently. I actually use the lorebooks as a workout nowadays for my little noodle arms.
I also wrote my bachelors dissertation on aspects of war in the ASOIAF books, so if you want to talk all things Westeros while we wait for George to probably never finish the series then I'm here. Who's watching House of the Dragon here?
A friend of mine coaxed me into watching Stranger Things recently. You get 1 guess as to which character was the one I got invested in above all the others (only because it's both painfully obvious and deeply embarrassing).
I'm generally an all-round bookworm and literature lover. Also got a huge love of history especially the medieval period, The Sandman (comics and show), Junji Ito, philosophical texts, graphic novels and comics generally, foreign languages (I speak German!), feminist essays and all things Gothic horror (what a surprise). I write fiction and poems of debatable quality, I love my cats and plants and still have dreams of singing in a band... someday? Maybe if you're nice you'll hear me sing. Or if you ply me with good food, either works.
Erased is definitely my favourite anime.
I'm happy to make friends or more if we connect that way. I might be a little shy at first, but I'm very much a hopeless romantic at heart. We can go and haunt a cemetery together. So yeah, let's see how this goes
Some bands and artists I love (in no particular order): Ghost, The Cure, Dio, Nine Inch Nails, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Type O Negative, Nick Cave, Alex G, Cigarettes After s*x, Incubus, Joy Division, Siouxsie Sioux, Glass Animals, Uncle Acid, Twin Temple, Mitski, The Pixies, Grizzly Bear, The Orion Experience, Cage the Elephant, Deftones, My Bloody Valentine, Smashing Pumpkins, Slowdive.... and many, many more. There's a lot of genre mixing going on tbh.
