Lifelong resident of Leeds , where I lead a somewhat peculiar existence. Music is my main interest and it takes me around the country to attend gigs ; Manchester and London are places I visit fairly regularly , Newcastle , Nottingham and Sheffield on occasion too.
I was disillusioned at an early age when I discovered that liking the same bands as someone doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get on with them ; in fact some very unlikeable people are fans of great bands. Sad but true.
I like a broad range of music , though for the purposes of this profile I've just included indie rock , post - punk and hardcore and metal stuff.
Other than music I enjoy film and TV , having watched possibly more television than anyone else of my age , not a claim I make lightly. Some of it was actually worth watching. I also enjoy other cultural pursuits such as the theatre on occasion and art. I'm interested in all sorts , so no matter how dull you imagine yourself to be , I will find your interests worthy of attention and at least nod along politely. I like to wander about aimlessly , especially in a place like London , you can see all manner of wonders. Walking down a street that I've never been down before is interesting ( my phone suggested insane as an appropriate word to use there , I must disagree )
Writing a profile is agony.
