So, how best to describe myself? Well, I guess you could say that I’m rather quirky. Alt, goth, genderfluid, aspie, bookworm, writer, rock, metal, spiritual, take your pick. Being an aspie (Aspergers), I have a rather bizarre sense of humour, which I’ll admit, not everyone gets, and I tend to be largely non-verbal, due in part to having a bad stutter. When I do talk, I will occasionally come out with things that can be slightly inappropriate. If I do, don't take offence, it's just another of the delightful traits of being an aspie. But behind all that weirdness, there is a guy with a heart of gold. I am very caring and considerate by nature, with the desire to share my love with as many people as possible. I guess that makes me panromantic, but I am completely hetero.
I have, what I think, is my own very unique sense of style, so I usually stand out from the crowd, and I love getting dressed up for events like the Whitby Goth Weekend, and the Jorvik Viking Festival. I consider myself to be a spiritual person, and am a member of one of my local pagan groups, run by my girlfriend, and we attend pagan camps together, along with some of our friends, whenever we get the chance.
When I'm not socialising, I enjoy long walks in the woods on the outskirts of town, chilling out at home, listening to music, watching movies, reading, and have been known to write, when I'm in the mood. And I guess I must be in the mood quite often, as I have written 2 books, as yet unpublished, am currently working on a third, and have ideas for at least 2 more.
As well as being panromantic, I am also polyamorous, and my girlfriend and I have what you would call an open-relationship. And I guess that is what has brought me here. Besides making new friends, who I can actually hang out with, what I am really looking for is someone who shares some of my interests, and who is open-minded enough to have a casual relationship with me. I realise that this probably isn't the kind of site where I'm likely to find this, but the mainstream sites have let me down, so I figured 'what the hell'!!!
