I'm a metalhead with eclectic tastes.. Beethoven, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, Tom Waits, and Muddy Waters, and the Red Army Choir are all on my play list, which I keep on random, because I like the surprise of going from 'Champagne and Reefer' to 'Qadosh' in a single second.
I'm originally from South Carolina, and as you can expect I have a habit of using some of those funny-sounding southern expressions (which out here is always a riot for whatever reason...) and have a bit of an accent. I also swear way more than most people I know, but it's funny. Most of the time. I moved out to Arizona for school, but that seems to have collapsed on me due to the monetary situation.
I was a network security major.
I practice Combat Sambo mixed with Systema Kadochnikova, and am a self described 'Discordian Asatru'. Which, more or less, means while I follow the codes of Asatru, and call upon those gods, I like to mix in the random act of chaos and disorder, since it is the very essence of the laws of the universe. After all, the universe was born from chaos and will die in chaos, so why not keep the chaos flowing to rejuvenate the world a bit at a time?
I'm a political person, keeping track of political issues all over the world from the Venezuelan milk 'shortage' (caused by corporate artificial inflation), to the Israel-Palestine conflict, from American political issues, to the Russian elections, and from the genocides in Africa to the economic boom in Iceland. Full disclosure: I am a Communist. And a bit of a Russophile. [I can't help it, the language is amazing and the culture is awesome. Also, vodka.]
I like to engage in discussions and debate, and my goal is get a doctorate in both Political Science and Economics.
I guess now comes the awkward physical part, yes?
I'm six-feet tall, and the last time I weighed in I was 195 pounds. Since I follow one of the oldest theorems of fitness I am /not/ one of those ripped bulging guys, but instead have a thin layer of fat over the muscles. This is for practical reasons; it lessens the possibility of a torn muscle during strenuous activity, and in the (now unlikely) case that I may be attacked with a weapon, my body can take more damage than your average 'I have six-pack abs' guy. Also, a brief rant, most of the guys I've seen that look like that have difficulty lifting their own body weights.. Moving on..
I have dark brown hair that reaches... I'm not sure. It's wavy, curly, frizzy, straight..it does it's own thing. It's around a foot or so of hair though, when pulled back.
I've got hazel eyes, which, in case you didn't know, means they sort of change color depending on many different variables including blood pressure, stress, lighting, blahblahblah... Usually somewhere between greenish and light grey/blue.
I don't have any tattoos or piercings, though I want to get at least a tattoo of Mjolnir between the collar bones soon.
As for distinguishing marks, I have scars pretty much everywhere. From fights, surgeries, cat scratches... Hell, if a strong wind hits me I might scar. I bruise like a brick, but scar like a tomato.
Attitude wise, I'm usually pretty chipper, cracking jokes, telling stories, and listening to people, but I'm shy around new folks. It comes from the way I was raised, but I can get comfortable eventually. There are occasions where I get moody and can be somewhat of a jerk for no apparent reason, but that's my manic-depression kicking my ass. I've been called a real-life troll, which I'm okay with, because that means I know how to make people laugh, especially if they get meme-references. Sometimes I can take it too far and actually get pretty mean with it, generally following some sort of provocation. I don't trust people who don't use obscenities.
Things I like to do include exercising, discussing politics, economics, philosophy, and religion, reading up on these same subjects, listening to music, going to concerts, and just chilling out. If it wasn't so bloody hot outside in the summer, or I wasn't terribly unprepared for the winter, I'd be more apt to hike more of the mountain trails around.
When it comes to my preferences in women, I really don't have a 'type' or anything. I really don't care too much about physical appearances, either. My rationale is that beauty deteriorates any f**king way, so why put so much stock in it? Although, I do have a double standard (later revealed). Generally, the girls I've been with have been shorter than me, and I guess what I believe is called 'chubby' but I prefer to think of it as 'healthy'. They approached me for relationships, not the other way around, which I felt was pleasant, because I was free from the idea of rejection for a while. I don't have a preference for blondes, brunettes, or redheads or any of that. I don't believe I have the luxury of being picky about a girls looks while looking the way I do. Haha..
For guys, (here's that dreaded double standard) I'm horrendously picky. Never dated a guy, and likely never will. My preference regarding guys is summed up in one word: Trap. Sorry for being a hypocritical bastard. ._.
