So you know that moment when you felt this seemed like a good idea? Not looking like such a splendid idea now I've got to write about myself, please forgive me if I descend into bullet points.
Eclectic. That's the one word I'd use to describe me. I don't conform to one style of life. I pick the bits I like and smush them together to form some semblance of a person with morals, ideals, heart and curiosity.
I've got two children, both are old enough to have begun to become interesting, useful at home and somewhat independent. We are in the process of educating The Boy in his music tastes (was touch and go there for a while but Black Parade anniversary was perfectly timed) and we do like a bit of Japanese culture (it's mostly The Girl but we all love a Ghibli film).
As the kids are growing up I'm finding that I'm getting some semblance of a life again and I want to fill that life with giggles and things of that nature.
Looking to hopefully meet someone who can string an intelligent sentence together, will understand that a book in my hand and headphones in means I'm not likely to budge for some time, is up for some trolley dancing in IKEA and isn't adverse to a little random singing in public places.
