Hello.
I'm trans (maybe non-binary transfemme, maybe trans woman, it's complicated and I'm still working through it) She/They pronouns.
I know this means I'm not going to some people's thing and thats ok.
What can I say about myself? I like horror films, world cinema, rubbish sci-fi films (and good ones as well), tea, nail polish, eye shadow and eyeliner (makeup if fun, healing and affirming) red pandas, culture, tattoos, books (oh my! do I like books) I read anything from the classics to comics, I really love history though especially its weirder parts. I'm pretty much drawn to the weird and the macabre and find comfort there.
Hmmmm what else? I like making my own earrings and listening to the music of Nick Cave and P J Harvey and pondering the deep mysteries of the universe that have vexed the human mind throughout the ages, ok I probably only do the last one a little bit. I'm kind of shy and awkward at first but I open up when I get to know people. I'm a kind, honest and upfront kind of person who is looking to meet someone to share my life with or just the chance to make new friends.
I tend to like quirky non-mainstream individuals but really I'm just looking for someone who is kind, loving and fun to be with. I'm very much not a natural at internetnet dating and it would be cool just to meet other new people, if we click and something comes of it then great but friendship is also fantastic and not to be underrated
In the interest of honesty I should mention that I am a bi-romantic asexual. I know being asexual will probably be an issue for some people (and that is fair enough) so I want to get it out in the open right from the start. It's complicated and this isn't really the place to go into detail about it but it is something we could talk about.
Also I'm on the autism spectrum but without any of the 'superpowers'.
