My name is Derek, I'm 28 and single. I'm fairly introverted but once you get to know me I become more talkative (: I tend to keep a positive mind and outlook on life as best as I can. Currently looking to meet new people and eventually a relationship down the line.
I graduated from college in 2015 with a degree in audio engineering and now work as a mix engineer at a studio. Music has always played a huge role in my life which is why I wanted to learn audio engineering. In my free time I like to play and write my own music, I've been a drummer for 16 years and a guitarist for 11 years. I listen to a lot of different types of music but Metalcore is probably my favorite genre.
Other than writing and playing music, some other hobbies of mine are playing video games and watching anime! I have a bunch of old retro gaming consoles as well as current gen gaming consoles like the PS5 and Switch. I grew up playing Nintendo games, Legend of Zelda was always my favorite growing up, some other current favorites of mine are Dark Souls and Monster Hunter. I also have too much anime on my list that I plan on watching that I can never get around to watching!
