I absolutely love to travel and am usually up for a good outdoor or wildlife adventure. I also feel equally enthusiastic simply hanging around the house, spending time relaxing and enjoying good company or my kids' antics. I am a recent transplant to AZ and being a biology nerd, studying Biology and Anthropology in college, I often find myself amazed at the biodiversity and natural beauty of this land. I have spent the last 6 summers coming here on vacation, and find great joy in finally calling it home and settling down here with my kids.
Since kids have been mentioned, here are the relationship details: I am separated, going through an amicable divorce, have 3 kids, 1 in college in GA and the other 2 at home. I co-parent with my ex, and we take it pretty seriously so hopefully that isn't an issue because my kids come first and they need both parents in their lives. I have a full-time job at the University of Arizona, which I really love and between that and my kids I don't have tons of time but I always try to make myself available.
I love various types of music however I am especially partial old-school (1980's), street-punk, anarcho-punk but the 90's and 2000's are also on the playlist. I also like Motown, Oldies, Rockabilly, Psychobilly and a bit of everything really. I play guitar and have been in a few bands back in the south east US. I would like to work on my music more, but just don't have the time these days. If you can sing though, I'd love to collaborate even if dating isn't your interest!
I am very easy going, a good listener, open-minded, non-intrusive or judgemental and try to be compassionate and understanding in any situation. I am seeking a long-term, stable relationship with someone who is also, caring, affectionate and intelligent with some real relationship experience with similar music/cultural interests. Someone I can cruise around with screaming to loud music on the way to go find some wildlife and other outdoor adventures but also likes hanging around the house, eating good food (I cook very well) and doesn't mind some mildly chaotic children.
