You may notice from my photos that I have a dark, but also fun and casual aspect to my aesthetic. I grew up watching all kinds of movies, but I had a strong attraction to the dark, romantic and spooky stuff. Every year, my father would drive us to Disneyland. These annual pilgrimages had a big impact on my imagination and later work as a artist and curator. In the art shows I curate, I endeavor to create a memorable experience that will delight, as well as, inspire.
When I was in college, I hung out with a lot of fellow punks, goths and other misfits in a university culture that was dominated by Greeks (ie fraternity and sorority types.) I wasn't necessarily anti Greek, but I did identify as a GDI as in: god damned independent
So, that's probably something you might want to know about me from the get go. I also have a somewhat bookish, homebody side to me, so if you are looking for the extroverted life-of-the-party type, well, that ain't me. That being said, I do love gardening, camping and a lot of things that could be described as "wholesome" and outdoorsy and I definitely do try to keep an open mind. I even like bluegrass, so I am an odd assortment of seeming contradictions.Also: No offense, but I'm not interested in hook ups or long distance chats, so there's no point in writing to me if that's what you are looking for.
