It's a good year to explore abandoned places, one of my favorite things to do. I need adventure!
Anyone who wants to be involved with me on any level needs to know that my primary focus is to my life passion, healing others. I am an acupuncture physician and doctor of Oriental medicine, as well as a paramedic. I practice what I preach, and maintain myself in good health. Yes, I am 51 years old. Most people think I am in my 30s. Not bragging, when I tell people my age they look astonished. I cycle, ride horses, hike, and train/teach both qigong and Chen Taijiquan. I do not smoke and have no interest in dating anyone who does, and no interest in dating anyone who is not interested in taking care of their own health. That said, I don't expect everyone to be a health nut, and I do believe in enjoying myself with the good things in life as well. Moderation. I have no children.
When the world is not completely insane, I love to travel, incorporating my love of music and seeing live shows when I do. I love punk rock and industrial music since always, and have a rather eclectic music taste on top of that. A few of my favorite artists: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Einsturzende Neubauten, The Clash, Dead Kennedys, The Descendents, The HU, Tom Waits, Dead Can Dance, The Swans, Barry Adamson, The Cramps, Bauhaus, Queen Adreena, the Jesus Lizard. NOT a fan of techno, ravey music. Not a big fan of most rap (there are exceptions) or reggae (again, there are exceptions). I do like alot of Alt country and bluegrass. ( I sorta kinda play the banjo, mostly for my own enjoyment).
I do have a dog, a rescue Australian cattle dog, aka red heeler, named Tura Satana, after the movie star. I enjoy B movies as well. Not particularly a film buff, and I don't enjoy talking endlessly about movies, TV, movie/TV stars, etc. I do have some favorite films, among them the original Bladerunner, Dune, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou, Down by Law, and The Shape of Water.
I am a book nerd, and I love to read. I do not have TV or Netflix at home. Though I will happily binge watch programs at friends' houses.
I always try to remember to be kind.
