I play bass and sing in the rock band Verge of Bliss. Additionally I am a molecular biologist. You must be both smart and have similar tastes in music for us to enjoy each other's company.
On the soft end of the scale I like Boards of Canada and the Virgin Suicides soundtrack by Air. However, I prefer to listen to Converge, Big Black, NIN, White Zombie, Aphex Twin, and instrumental Throbbing Gristle. Snakefinger is the name of my black and white cat, after the guitar player of both the Residents and Snakefinger's Vestal Virgins. Eclectic musical taste is not required but Counting Crows is a huge dealbreaker.
In May of this year I graduated BS Biological Sciences from Georgia State. Only recently was I able to obtain a job but I already love it. I do not care to be married to my career but I do have a deep and burning passion for science.
I have been married once to the guitar player from Verge of Bliss. We still play music together and have a five year old together. The child lives with the father but I am still very involved.
Maybe we seek the same things.
