Dating sites feel odd to me. My guess is, that most people here would prefer to meet someone in a more organic setting, but for one reason or another, we were all unable or unwilling to find the connection, that we're searching for, up till now.
However this kind of place isn't half bad, at least everyone is on the same page here.
Well onto intruductions; I'm 25 and have been single for 6 years now. While that never really bothered me, lately I started longing for someone to share affection with.
When describing my personality I will start with the negatives, so you don't have to keep reading, if you find something you hate listed.
I'm untidy, always 5-10 minutes late to almost everything (unless it's really important), somedays I will go into hermit mode and not talk to anyone for a few (normally around 1-3) days, which I find incredibly relaxing. I dislike large social gatherings, unless they're big enough that I feel anonymous. Oh, and I'm also pretty hard to get to know normally, because I don't really like talking about myself, it's much easier for me to express myself in a written medium though.
Now some positives: I'm kind to everyone, unless they're twofaced. Or at least I try to be, sometimes I f**k up. I don't judge people, I am way to fascinated with how other people work at their core to impose my beliefs on another person. I will however have my own opinion and if someone holds principles, that directly contradict mine, we will not get along to put it mildly (for example: fascists, racist, etc.). I'm generally a rather positive person and I truely believe, that everybody has good intentions, no matter how twisted they might seem. Sometimes I can be bitter and cynical, but I get my optimism back after seeing something cute or beautiful or heartwarming.
For hobbys, I am a scout (DPSG) and I responsible for a group of around 20 8-10 year old kids, who are cute and really annoying. I also play board and video games, mostly strategy games and rpgs. I like watching anime, but also common shows. I enjoy going hiking and camping. I also like getting lost in thougths about all kinds of topics, which I know sounds weird, but I can easily entertain myself for an hour by sitting on my couch fantasising about what would have happend, if the romans discovered the steam engine. Also cooking and creative writing.
No-Gos: People who constantly tell you what to do (I already have a mom, I don't need a second one, thanks). Talking badly about someone behind their back.
I want someone who likes cuddling. You should also like or at least be able to tolerate punk rock as well as walks and dates with no plan where to go next nor any aim. And if you're perfect, you prefer to watch all your movies and shows in english.
