So...about me. My name's Kayla. I'm a second year college student, majoring in psychology (I want to be a psychotherapist) with a minor in Spanish. On the side of that, I'm an aspiring author (I'm currently working on my third book) I just don't have a lot of time right now for my book with college and two jobs (Culver's and Hot Topic). I'm bright and witty, and have a great, quick sense of humor. Basically, I'm a total dork. But in a good way haha.
Personality-wise, I'm extremely outgoing and know what I want and how to get it. Despite having an A-type personality, I am extremely affectionate and outwardly loving, and I'm good at listening to people's problems, comforting them, and giving good advice. I do, however, have a bit of a temper. Fair warning.
My biggest interest is music; I play piano, flute, and sing, and I write my own music. As of recently, I have started a band called Chasing Discordia, for which I am the lead singer and keyboardist, and one of our 2 music writers. In the meantime we are covering bands like My Chemical Romance, Flyleaf, Paramore, Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Sick Puppies, and more. For physical activity, I have a competitive streak a mile wide. My favorites are badminton, mixed martial arts, archery, paintballing, and horse-back riding. Also love rock-climbing and hiking. I've been described by friends as a well-rounded person and someone who would make a good aristocrat haha.
